My name is Laureen Laumeyer. I am a gifted and talented teacher at Cedar Grove Elementary, Crossroads Elementary, and Lebanon Junction Elementary. I received my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and my Gifted and Talented Endorsement from Western Kentucky University. I earned my Master's in Elementary Math Education from NOVA Southeastern. I also am a National Board Certified Teacher. I completed my endorsement in Gifted Education at Western Kentucky University.
I have taught in Louisiana, Georgia, and Kentucky. I have three wonderful grown children and two fabulous grandchildren. My daughter, Danelle, her husband, and my grandson live in Rogers, Arkansas. My son Christopher lives in Elizabethtown. My youngest son, David, his wife and my granddaughter live in Savannah, Georgia.
I live in Elizabethtown with a spoiled dog named Abbie (named after Abigail Adams). In addition to teaching I enjoy spending time with my grandson, granddaughter, yoga, running, and water sports.
